Meet the Therapist


Tamara Sterling, M.S., CCC-SLP, the founder and Chief Speech-Language Pathologist of Sterling Speech Services, has been sharing the power of communication with children and their parents for over six years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Hofstra University and her Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Long Island University (Brooklyn Campus). Tamara is certified by New York State and the American Speech and Hearing Association, and holds a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities certificate. She is an active member of the American Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology.

Prior to establishing Sterling Speech Services, Tamara worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the hospital, skilled nursing facility, home care, and school settings. She currently provides speech and language services in a Westchester County school district in conjunction with Sterling Speech Services.

Tamara is passionate about providing effective speech therapy to individuals with speech and language disorders and is committed to facilitating effective communication one individual at a time. She firmly believes that following the client’s lead is the key to successful speech therapy.
